Blade of Immortal Anime!
Japanese blog Earl.box has images of the May issue of Afternoon announcing Hiroaki Samura’s Blade of Immortal (Mugen no Junin) anime. Set to premiere this summer, the show will be directed by Koichi Mashimo of Noir and animation house Bee Train will be taking care of the production. Manji will be voiced by Tomokazu Seki, who also voiced Sagara Souseke from FMP. Rin will be voiced by Rina Satou who voices Satori from Bamboo Blade. BUT! Best of all, Mamiko Noto (Kotomi Ichinose from Clannad) is voicing the deadly and awesome Makie!
I’m really hoping this show turns out well. Though, I’m not too found of Bee Train’s production work, the voices seem to be an awesome cast. Here’s to keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t be a let down.
