Yesterday, I went to the Star Wars Celebration happening at the LA Convention Center. Don’t know how I ended up there, since I don’t even know much about the series except for the movies and Genndy’s version of the Clone Wars. Here’s a bullet summary of the day!
- Ate at Daikokuya and had frozen Yogurt at ce fiore.
- Walked by a X-fighter Del Sol

- A guy flew by in a jetpack with a Boba Fett suit on.
- The 501st marched in front of us…
- They had a gallery of Vader helmets where many popular artist and graffiti artist used the ol’ dark one as a medium palette. My favorite helmet is the one with the stag beetle horn.
- Left the convention to go toy hunting and have my first visit into Santee alley. If you ever drop by LA this is definitely a place to go for the atmosphere. They sell everything here at not necessarily legit too! (ToT) I did procure a Luchador belt though of the Blue Demon.
- The rest of the day was spent going to Munky King and some other shops, where my friend was looking for the Shoji Kawamori Starscream figure.
- Our last stop was Clifton’s, a very old cafeteria style eatery. I should’ve taken some pictures, its such a bizarre place. Imagine a cafeteria style diner with a woodland creature atmosphere.
Thus, be it the end of my day at my first Star Wars convention. What did I learn from all of this? That Boba Fett is a Mandorlian Mandalorian. Is that how you spell it? I dunno….
Close, it’s Mandalorian
Real-life jetpacking Boba Fett? That’s awesome!
