It’s good to have friends in Japan! I was lucky enough to have a friend procure the pre-order at 7-11 and here it is! It’s a well done deco and I enjoy all of the Transformer Mickey’s that have came out so far. Especially this one since my favorite color combination is black and orange.
Mickey transform and roll out!
Just got back from Japan! Finally was able to unload my photos onto the computer. Here are the pictures I took of the Gundam while there. It’s simply unbelievable and amazing to think that if this was real, North Korea would be screwed….or the Japanese are just as crazy as we think they are! The Gundam does move but only the head and it shoots mist from its vents. So here’s just a orgy of pictures that I took while there. Enjoy!
Updated: Added image of stuff bought at Odaiba and video.
Here’s the some schwag I bought from the event:
Tote bag for groceries, pin and commemorative book.

In celebration of Gundam’s 30th Anniversery UNIQLO has some new shirts being introduced into there line. The best part of it all? They all cost 1.500円 each! Seriously…I’m going to buy all of them if I can! You can check out the rest of the shirts here.
My favorite one is the DOM one….so good, so good.
Artstorm is releasing a new series of mechs called ES Gokin (Alloy). The new series consist of old-school robot heroes and making miniature versions of them. Though this isn’t the first of the series, Artstorm recently announced that triad of Getter Robo are going to be released! Date for Getter-1 is scheduled for October and the rest of the two will be due in November. Getter-1 will run about 4,343円, where as the other two will be 3,439円 each. I personally like Getter-2. Why? Because drills are awesome.
One more thing to pick up when I’m in Japan this year!
